Chicagoland Dance Festival - REGISTRATION & RULES

A basic weekend pass is $70 before July 15, 2010 and $85 after July 15, 2010. The weekend pass gives you access to all compeition, open dancing, the Saturday night show and most workshops.

Spectator Passes for non-dancers are $10 per day.

Registration deadline for all Pro-Am competition - both country and swing - is Saturday, August 14.
Registration deadline for all other contests is Friday, August 20, 2010 at 7 pm.

Up to $2000 cash available for Masters competitors.

UCWDC TOP TEACHER

Top teacher prize money is awarded in one category without regard to instructor gender.

SWING AND HUSTLE TOP TEACHER

Top teacher prize money is awarded in one category without regard to instructor gender.

DIVISION ONE OPEN

SWING JACK AND JILL

Cash prizes for the top 3 places all three divisions with at least five couples entered in the division.

2-STEP JACK AND JILL

Jackpot! The more people who compete, the bigger the pot...and all the money is awarded.

Pro-Am Swing and Hustle
	There are 3 Open categories: Newcomer, Novice, and a combined Intermed/Advanced.
	The pro partner is limited to a maximum of 5 different am partners per division.
	This is a lead/follow category and choreographed routines are not allowed.
	This contest will be danced in a heated format
	No lifts, drops or aerials
	Couples will dance to music provided by the Chicagoland Country and Swing Dance Festival
	The music will be selected at random at the time of the contest
Strictly Swing & Strictly Hustle
	Cash prizes for the top 3 places all three divisions based on number of entries
	There are two categories: Novice, and a combined Intermed/Adv
	This is a lead/follow category and choreographed routines are not allowed
	This contest will be danced in a heated format
	No lifts, drops, or aerials
	Couples will dance approximately 2 minutes to music provided by the Chicagoland Country and Swing Dance Festival
	The music will be selected at random at the time of the contest
WSDC Jack and Jill Swing
	NEWCOMER, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced - and ALL STARS. That's 2 new divisions this year!
	This contest will be danced in a heated format
